Based in London and New York City, Jonathan Reed joined Acuris Global, Ltd., in 2002. He held numerous leadership positions with the company over the next 18 years, including global managing director of fixed income. As the leader of the largest division at Acuris, Jonathan Reed managed all of the division’s commercial activities, product development, marketing, and acquisition processes. He emphasized profitable growth and innovation, allowing him to grow the division to an annual recurring revenue of more than $100 million. He was also a founding member of Debtwire, a data, news, and investment analysis provider for the global investment banking, investment and advisory communities.
In 2020, Jonathan Reed launched a private company investment portfolio. He has targeted post-revenue data companies, with a focus on leading companies preparing to break into new markets or grow their product lines. In addition to his investing activities, he maintains advisory roles with several of the businesses in his portfolio.
Mr. Reed studied business administration and management at the University of the West of England in Bristol. His professional interests range from the use of artificial intelligence for dataset analysis to business-to-business data and information service innovations.
